I finally have a car. Actually I've had it for 1 month now. Hard to believe I've had it that long.
The second day I had the car someone hit me, so the following week I had to turn the car in for repairs. I was without it for a week. Wasn't so bad since I had waited for over 2 years to get one in the first place.
If you think going without a car is easy, try taking groceries on the bus while having to use a cane to walk. Doesn't work that easily. I usually had to depend on someone else to shop for me or order online, which, of course, cost more.
Now all I have to do is hop in the car and go. Man is it nice to have my freedom again.
Sure, it's a used car and doesn't have air conditioning. My mom always said "air conditioning is rolling down the window". Good enough when I was a kid..so good enough now since my kids are all grown and on their own. I'm just happy the heater works for the winter time, just in case I need it.
I've also decided to start doing more crafty things. I'm not a skillful drawer, so you won't see any drawings from me on here.
I do try to write..so more stories to come. What kind I can only imagine right now.
I do lots of "crafty" things. Those I will start to take pix of and post. Then if anyone is interested in them..they can let me know!!
